let’s see…well, for starters i am 26 years old. i live in knoxville and work with children in foster care that have emotional and behavioral problems. i am single and enjoy it most of the time. i love listening to live music, especially of the local, acoustic type. i try to be an environmentally-conscious consumer and my co-workers describe me as “granola.”
i love to explore the outdoors. hiking and camping are some of my favorite pastimes. i also enjoy photography - my favorite subjects to photograph are flowers, mountains, and waterfalls. i like creating things, whether it be a purse, curtains, a skirt, scarves, journals, or things to hang on the wall. i like to make use of interesting, atypical objects and i like for the things in my home to be both attractive and functional.
i am mostly out-going but there are times that i revert back to the shy 6-year-old that i used to be. at 26 years old, i’d rather be around people that i know and am comfortable with than in a room full of strangers. i have no problem in the professional world meeting new people but when it comes to my personal life, it’s a bit harder…as least when i’m alone.
i have a cat named roxy that is almost 4 years old. some people have been unfortunate enough to experience her “mean” side but she is very loving and sweet the majority of the time (hint: she doesn’t like other animals). she’s a very funny cat as far as some of her habits but i love her and i would probably be lonely without her.
i want to love others the way God loves them and live a life that pleases God.
I will direct all goodwill energies toward you because this is a wonderful and admirable goal for a person as young as you. Don’t let mean people and disappointments change you or your purpose. Good luck with your life and with your blog.
